Jan. 28: See here for a sketch of (roughly) 12.4.10. Also, see here for more discussion of the Monty Hall problem. I'm happy to argue more with you about the Monty Hall problem in office hours if you want to try to convince me my solution is wrong!

Jan. 20: First exam next Monday! The exam will cover material up to and including the Professor's lecture on Jan 14 (last Friday). That means you should know the material covered in discussion this week.
Jan. 17: Note that the answer to 12.2 problem 19 should be 11/36, not 5/36 as listed in the book.
