My research interests are Partial Differential Equations and Numerical Optimization. In particular, I am currently working on applying L1-constrained non-convex optimization to electronic structure calculations.

Additionally, I am interested in both the PDE theory of the Boltzmann and Landau-Fokker-Planck equations and developing numerical methods for solving problems in kinetic theory, with the goal of applying these methods to the simulation of plasmas in a tokamak.
