I am an Assistant Professor (Tenure-track) at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University - Virginia Tech. 

Prior to joining Virginia Tech, I was a Maître assistant at the  University of Geneva. Previously I was a  E.R. Hedrick Assistant Adjunct Professor at the University of California, Los Angeles - UCLA,   working under the supervision of Terence Tao. Before that I was a postdoctoral researcher in the Math Section at the International Centre for Theoretical Physics - ICTP,  and a postdoctoral  researcher at Aalto University, my mentor was Juha Kinnunen.  Prior to joining Aalto University I earned a Ph.D in Mathematics at the Instituto de Matemática Pura e Aplicada - IMPA  under the supervision of Emanuel Carneiro. I am working in harmonic analysis and its connections to related fields such as number theory,  combinatorics, ergodic theory  and PDE.
