Text: Multivariable Calculus, by James F. Hurley
Material: Chapters 5 and 7 from Hurley: Multivariable Calculus and some extra material from Lectures . The course will start with Chapter 5 on Thursday January 8, 2004.
Grading
- Two midterms, each 20 percent
- Homework and Class Participation, 20 percent
- Final, 40 percent
Midterms
- First Midterm: Friday, January 30 or Monday February 2 (TBA)
- Second Midterm: TBA
- Final: Monday, March 22, 8:00 am. - 11:00 am.
- Calculators are not allowed during examinations
There will be no makeup exams for the course. If an exam is missed for emergency reasons, see Professor White for a revised grading policy.
Homework will be assigned once a week on Friday and will be due on the following Friday . No late homework will be accepted.
Syllabus: The course will start with Chapter 5 and proceed directly through the material. Weekly homework for the course will be listed under virtual office hours on the web site for the course. It will be updated weekly as the course progresses.
