It will cover everything we do in the course, from the first day to the last day. For the homework, that means Problem Sets I-VIII. For the notes, it means everything we cover. Exception: The material on polynomial-time computability (Chapter 7) will not be on the exam.

I will hold my usual office hours on Monday, March 19. John Kittrell will have office hours Monday, 4-5 p.m. I will hold an extra office hour on Tuesday, March 20, 5:30-6:30 p.m., for last-minute questions. And questions can always be posted on our virtual office hours site.
