Final Exam

Mathematics 114A

Our final exam will be on Friday, March 18, 11:30 - 2:30 (exam code 2), in MS 5127. Note that this is the first day of finals.

The final exam covers everything from the first day to the last day. That is, it covers the material for the first test, the material for the second test, and the recent material from parts of Section 2.6 (but excluding the passages on countable sets, uncountable cardinals, and the Los-Vaught test). (It might also be helpful to look at the Commentary on the sections covered.) For the homework, it covers Problem Sets I-VIII, a total of 38 problems.

The ground rules: closed book; no calculators; paper is provided. A list of the logical axioms will be provided.

I will hold my normal office hours on Wednesday, March 16, 2:00-3:30pm. Also I will have an office hour on Thursday, March 17, 5:30-6:30pm. And I will watch the "virtual office hours" website.)

Joe Busch will hold an extra 114A discussion section in MS 5127, this Thursday at 10:00am. Students should feel free to attend with questions, or to just stop by and pick up old homework assignments.
