Abstract:

This informal and very candid discussion will be divided into three parts:

• A brief description of the educational and teaching background of the presenter.
• A discussion of how to direct your teaching experience and effectively market yourself with the eventual goal of securing a full-time tenure track teaching position in mathematics.
• A discussion of the teaching opportunities that exist at College of the Canyons, in Valencia, as well as a complete discussion of the academic requirements, compensation and application process.
