ANALYSIS

Textbook: Stall, Introduction to real analysis. We shall cover Chapters 7,8,9. In the end I will give a short introduction to the Chapter 10 (Lebesgue Measure and Integration).
There will be one midterm exam (during the sixth week of classes) and the final exam.
Grading
The grading policy:
1.Homework:15% of total grade, 2.Midterm:35% 3.Final exam:50%Alternative grading:
1.Homework:15% 2.Final exam:85%
I shall choose the best of these two alternatives. There will be no makeup midterm exams. No calculators, books or notes are allowed during the exams.
Homeworks will be assigned on Fridays and will be collected the following Friday in the class.
