We will learn why a good boomerang returns to its thrower without the aid of a golden retriever. The math and physics involved in boomerang flight will be analyzed. Moreover, if the weather is good we'll all throw some boomerangs in a nearby field and see how boomerang characteristics and throwing techniques affect their flight.
Here are two boomerangs currently hanging on my wall.
