I received my PhD in Mathematics from UCLA in Spring 2011.  I'll be starting a G.C. Evans Instructorship at Rice University in Fall 2011.  This summer, I'm around at UCLA teaching a summer class (see "Teaching" below).

My research during graduate school has mostly focused on a filtration on the Heegaard Floer chain complex for the double cover of the 3-sphere branched over a knot.
