About Me

I am a graduate student in Applied Mathematics at UCLA. My advisor is Andrea Bertozzi. I also work closely with George Mohler, P. Jeffrey Brantingham, and Rick Schoenberg. I am part of the Crime Research Group.

I was born and raised in Sacramento, CA. After getting my fill of the place, I attended UC Berkeley where I majored in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science. However, once I graduated, I couldn't stay away and so I moved back. To keep myself busy, I did private math tutoring but I soon realized that being in school was a lot more fun than being out of it. After a long process, I ended up at UCLA in graduate school and I love it. I don't know if I am proud or depressed about the fact that my entire life can be summed up in six sentences.
