Math 151A: Assignment 1

This assignment is due Monday, April 8, at the beginning of lecture.

Programming Part

First, download the homework 1 code here. It is MATLAB code that plots sin²(x) from 0 to 4π. Make sure that you can run it.

Next, modify the code so that it plots cos²(x) from -4π to 6π, and use dx = 4π/25 for x∈[-4π,0], dx = 3π/50 for x∈[0,3π], and dx = 3π/100 for x∈[3π,6π].

What You Should Turn In

Print your modified plot and submit it to class. Homework submitted via email will NOT be accepted.
