About Me

I am currently a third-year PhD student in the Department of Mathematics at UCLA. My primary mathematical interest is functional analysis - especially operator algebras. I am also interested in various other fields, including probability theory.

I did my undergraduate work at the University of Miami, receiving a Bachelor of Science (major: mathematics, minor: economics) and a Bachelor of Business Administration (major: finance, minor: accounting) in 2006.  I also received a Master of Science in mathematics from the Courant Institute (CIMS) at New York University in 2007.

Before enrolling at UCLA, I was a Quantitative Analyst at Property & Portfolio Research in Boston, MA.
