I'll stick to the book and to the following syllabus as much as possible.
Homework: Homework will be assigned on Wednesday and due for the next Wednesday. Homework will be collected at the beginning of the class and returned to you in the discussion sections. Note that every student must give his own homework. Late homework will not be accepted.
Midterm #1: Wednesday, January 30, during the class.
Midterm 1-Solution
Midterm #2: Monday, February 25, during the class. The sections covered are 4.2-4.5 and 4.8. Personal notes, textbook and calculator are not allowed. Note that because of the day off, I decided to schedule extra office hours on Thursday February 21 from 2:30PM to 4:00PM.
Midterm 2-Solution
Here is the practise final: this assignment won't be graded. I will give most of the solutions during the last two lectures.
Final Exam: Wednesday, March 19, 11:30AM-2:30PM.
There will be no make-up exam.
Grading: The final score should be given by: 10%.HW + 20%.ME1 + 20%.ME2 + 50%.FE.
