Hotels
There are no Hotels in the immediate vicinity of HRL Laboratories.
We will get special rates in the following two hotels, and can
make reservations for you. Please let me know as soon as you
made your travel plans if you want to stay here.
Country Inn in Calabasas

This is closest to HRL Laboratories; it
is approximately a 15 minuter drive from here to HRL.
Ramada Inn in Westwood
Westwood is a 30-40 Minute drive from
HRL. However, it is walking distance to UCLA, so you might want to
stay here if you want to combine your stay out here with a visit to
UCLA.
We will be able to pay the hotel for all of the invited participants
in either of these two places. We can pay you for up to 5 nights
(Saturday night through Wednesday night) if you have to fly to LA,
and choose to take the cheaper flights that require a Saturday night
stay.
Hotels in Santa Monica
An alternative is to stay in any of the many hotels in Santa Monica.
Santa Monica is a 20 minute drive from HRL Laboratories, and I
think that you might prefer to stay here, especially if you stay
over the weekend. Hotels in Santa Monica are slightly more expensive,
and we can reimburse all invited participants for up to $100/night.

$245 (corporate rate). Very nice place and location.
