Directions between LAX, HRL, and Country Inn
From LAX to HRL Laboratories
Take I-405 (San Diego Freeway) north. Go for about 10 miles to
I-10 (Santa Monica freeway). Go I-10 west until it ends (about 5miles).
Here, it leads into Pacific Coast Highway (PCH).
Go PCH for about 15 miles, to Malibu Canyon Road.
Take Malibu Canyon Road up the hill. It is about 1 mile to HRL.
HRL is on your left.
From LAX to the Country Inn
Take I-405 (San Diego Freeway) north. Go for about 20 miles (this might
take a while, since the I-405 is often very busy) to the Ventura Freeway
(101). Take the 101-freeway westbound (toward Ventura). Exit
Mulholland Dr/Valley Circle. Make a left over overpass, and then a right
on Calabasas Rd. The country Inn in 1/4 mile down on the right.
From Country Inn to HRL
Take the 101-freeway west. Go about 3 miles to the exit Las Virgenes Rd/Malibu
Canyon Rd. Go left (over the freeway) and go straight for about 9 miles.
HRL Laboratories is on your right, about 1 mile before you reach the ocean
and PCH.
