I am a PIC Assistant Adjunct Professor in the Department of Mathematics at UCLA.

I pursued my doctoral dissertation titled Some computational problems motivated by the Birch and Swinnerton-Dyer conjecture under the guidance of Ming-Deh Huang and William Stein and was conferred a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Science degree by the University of Southern California in 2007. I received a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Southern California in 2005, and a Bachelor of Engineering (Honors) degree in Computer Science from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, India in 1999. Prior to graduate school, I worked as a software engineer at Honeywell Technology Solutions Lab, Bangalore, India, from 1999-2000.

My Fall 2007 job application packet (from November 2006) sheds light on my research interests, which include number theory, algorithms, computation and SAGE.

CV (as March 2008)

I defended my thesis on May 3, 2007 and the event was captured in the following formats: Pics, Audio, and Slides.
I co-organize the Number Theory Seminar. If you would like to be informed via email about upcoming number theory related events at UCLA or if you would like to give a talk, please send me an email.
