About Bohyun
I am a Postdoctoral Fellow and C.R. Wiley Instructor of Mathematics at the University of Utah. I completed my Ph.D. in Mathematics at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 2023 under the guidance of Dr. Andrea Bertozzi. My research interests lie in modeling, analysis, and numerical analysis of Partial Differential Equations arising in physics and engineering problems. Prior to my Ph.D., I completed a Master's degree in Math from UCLA and B.S in Math from the University of California, Irvine.
My name is pronounced as "Buoyant" with "t" silenced. It works perfectly because, for my Ph.D. thesis, I created numerical methods for fluid mechanics problems!
