Information for Travel by Foreign Nationals and people coming
from outside the US

In order to be reimbursed from the NSF grant your air tickets
must be on a US Carrier.  This is required by the National Science Foundation.
Many foreign airlines have code-share tickets with US Carriers.
What is important is that the ticket itself lists the US Carrier.  
You must purchase the lowest cost economy fare on a US Carrier.

Travel expense can be reimbursed directly to foreign travelers
on many visa types.
HOWEVER, there are particular problems
with people currently working in the US
holding visas of type H1-B and H2-B, F-2,H-4,O-3 and P-4. 
If you are in the US on one of the above listed visa types please contact
 the conference organizers IMMEDIATELY regarding special arrangements
 for reimbursement.
