  • 6/10: In the Solutions to Midterm Exam #2 Version B, Problem 1, the eigenvector for lambda = 1 should have entries [-2, 1]. (Thanks to MF for pointing this out.)
  • 6/8: In Handout T, most of the diagrams say L sub A when they should say T sub A; the other notation went with a different textbook.
  • 6/4: Problem T-10 refers to Handout G, not Handout I.
  • 5/28: People have asked about the word "orthogonal" on the solutions to the sample midterm. You haven't had that yet.
  • 5/19: Homework Assignment #7 will now be due Friday 5/22 instead of Wednesday.
  • 5/18: On Handout T [available Wed], p. T 13, line 5, it should say we still need to prove "<=" (not "=>").
  • 5/18: On Handout S, p. S2, Example 2.2: Should be 1+2x, not 1+x.
  • 5/18: Assignment #7 should have due date 5/20 (not 5/21).
  • 5/12: Assignment #6 was mistakenly labeled Assignment #5.
  • 5/4: On Midterm #1, Problem 2(c), if you lost credit because your answer was not specific enough, see me.
  • 4/27: On Assignment #4, the problems are from Section 5.1, not 5.4.
