Alexander Vandenberg-Rodes

I am currently a Ph. D candidate in mathematics at UCLA, under Tom Liggett.  My research interests are in interacting particle systems, probability, and applications of stable polynomials.

I graduated from Princeton University in 2006 with a Bachelors in Mathematics.

Pre-prints:

A limit theorem for particle current in the symmetric exclusion process”, Elect. Comm. in Probab. 15 (2010), 240-252.

Stability on {0,1,2,...}^S: birth-death chains and particle systems”, submitted.

Unpublished notes on stable polynomials (pdf).

Teaching:

Fall 2010 — TA for Math 275A (graduate probability).

Office: Math Sci 6153.
