Research Orientation

The focus of my current research efforts is on the development and implementation of simulations to model quantum devices constructed from thin film semi-conductors. I'm also interested in the process of creating and working with data generated by computational simulations.

In general terms my research activity is primarily on projects where mathematics and machine computation are combined in order to solve mathematical problems occurring in engineering and the physical sciences. Since many of the problems in these areas are expressed in terms of differential equations, much of what I do consists of developing and analyzing computational techniques for solving differential equations.
