Hi everyone,

Hope everyone is enjoying their summers.  Today the exam resuls come out so good luck to all of you and do something fun tonight!  There are a few things reported in this newsletter: Exam Results, Internship Opportunity at Mellon, and Field Trip to Farmers Insurance.

I. Exam Results

Exam results for courses 1-4 are going to be available starting July 9th.  That is the day they will be mailed, however, you can find out whether you "passed" or "failed" by calling the 24-hour automated hot line at 847-706-3579.  It will be open starting at 5:00 pm central time on July 9th.  Also, a list of candidate numbers that passed will be available on the SOA's website at www.soa.org, under the education and examinations tab.  I'm not sure when on July 9th the list will be posted.  Good luck!

III. Field Trip to Farmers Insurance

Professor Kong has scheduled a field trip to Farmers Insurance on Friday, July 23rd, leaving from the James West Alumni Center around 1:15 pm and returning to campus around 5:00 pm. Students interested in participating should email lfkong@hotmail.com as soon as possible. Thank you.
