The UCLA Volunteer Center coordinates service activities on-campus and throughout Greater Los Angeles to inspire members of the extended UCLA family to give of their time and talent. Through the Center, students, faculty, staff, alumni and community members can participate in ongoing and annual service opportunities, suggest volunteer site locations, and lead service projects. The Center also maintains an online listing of campus-wide service groups and a database of community service opportunities.
Research Analysts play an integral role in both the policy and research functions of the Research and Statistics Group. Our economists, whose specialties include banking and payment systems, capital markets, international economics, macroeconomics, and microeconomics, work closely with Research Analysts. Upon leaving the Fed, Research Analysts who choose to apply to graduate school are consistently accepted by top programs; others pursue a wide variety of public and private sector opportunities.
We are looking for instructors who are strong in math, enjoy working with young students and share their passion for the subject. Instructors are needed in all of the groups covering grades K through 12. The program is funded by the National Science Foundation and private funds, so all of the instructors are paid after completing training. If you are interested in joining the math circle team, please contact the program’s director, Dr. Olga Radko at firstname.lastname@example.org.
