Economics Undergraduate Research Fellows Program

The UCLA Department of Economics is pleased to announce the second year of the Department of Economics Board of Visitors Research Fellows Program. The Research Fellows program is modeled after our popular Sharpe Fellows Program and will support talented undergraduates interested in economic research. Selected Fellows will work side-by-side with a faculty member on the professor’s research team, and will receive a stipend of $2500 per quarter (up to a maximum of three quarters), professional development training, and the opportunity to present their findings at an event in June 2018.

Volunteer Center Fall Opportunities

The UCLA Volunteer Center coordinates service activities on-campus and throughout Greater Los Angeles to inspire members of the extended UCLA family to give of their time and talent. Through the Center, students, faculty, staff, alumni and community members can participate in ongoing and annual service opportunities, suggest volunteer site locations, and lead service projects. The Center also maintains an online listing of campus-wide service groups and a database of community service opportunities.

Upon leaving the Fed, Research Analysts who choose to apply to graduate school are consistently accepted by top programs; others pursue a wide variety of public and private sector opportunities.
