LUCIMATH Algebra is a 120-hour program designed for Los Angeles
Unified School District teachers of grade levels 6 through 12.
This program consists of two 10-week courses, both available
through UCLA Math Content Programs for Teachers (MCPT). Course
I, Perspectives on Algebra I, examines ideas associated with
algebraic thinking and algebra from an introductory standpoint,
and a problem-solving perspective. Participants may select one
of many other courses offered through MCPT to fulfill the second
course required.
