Dear Prospective Applicant, Thank you for your interest in graduate studies in the Department of Mathematics at UCLA. Applications are accepted for the Fall quarter only. The application deadline is December 15. You must submit both the UCLA Graduate Admissions Application and Math Departmental Application. The application review process begins mid-January; only completed applications will be reviewed. Please read all the information very carefully. In addition to the requirements below, return to Graduate Admissions for complete details. Please note: THE UCLA Graduate Admissions Application fee is MANDATORY!! If the application fee is not paid, the UCLA Admissions Office cannot process the application. Please note: DO NOT send publications. Financial Support: DO NOT complete the UCLA Fellowship application. The math department does not participate in the UCLA Chancellor's Fellowship program and does not nominate international applicants for other fellowships. First-year students are supported primarily by Teaching Assistantships. As part of the admission process, applications are reviewed for TA/RAships, registration fees and nonresident tuition. This does not require the UCLA Fellowship application. After the first year, international students are supported by teaching assistantships and research assistantships (students must have a faculty research sponsor). International students in their last year are eligible to apply for the UCLA Dissertation Year Fellowship. Required Tests (photocopies are sufficient for application review)
