Graduate Division PhD Hooding Ceremony |

- In order to participate, the student must file the doctoral dissertation in the library by June 2. Students who complete the filing process are mailed an invitation and the information needed to participate in the ceremony.
- Graduates are responsible for purchasing the cap and gown through Graduate Etc. Graduate division provides hoods.
- Light refreshments are provided for graduates and faculty before the ceremony and for everyone following the ceremony.
- If your faculty advisor will attend the ceremony, please contact Maggie immediately.

- This event is for undergraduates and Master's candidates.
- All students must RSVP using his/her MY UCLA web page.
- Tickets for the degree candidate and family/friends are required. Ticket reservations are April 29-May 14.

Mathematics Graduation Celebration |

- All Master's and Ph.D. candidates are invited to participate in the departmental celebration. Note, this is a NON-degree conferring event and there is no hooding for PhD candidates. The math department no longer provides a graduation program. The names for PhD and Master's students appear only in the UCLA official commencement programs.
- If you plan to participate in this celebration, please let Robin know May 19 - May 23 for a seat reservation. This is very important so that we have sufficient seats for graduate students.
- You may order up to 10 guest tickets through your MY UCLA web page and pick them up at the Central Ticket Office. (Photo ID is required for pick-up.)
