SPAM Filtering for Eudora

Advanced Spam Filtering for Eudora

  1. Click on the Tools menu at the top of the screen, then choose Filters.
  2. Click on the New button at the bottom of the Filters window.
  3. Under the Match heading, select Incoming".
  4. Enter the text X-Spam-Level: into the Header: text box.
  5. Select contains from the dropdown box, and enter in the text box the number of asterisks corresponding to the desired sensitivity of the spam score. Less asterisks will label more messages as spam. (e.g. ** catches messages with spam score >=2 while ****** catches messages with spam score >=6). Note: the default spam score is *****.
  6. Under the Actions: heading, select Transfer to.
  7. Click the button to the right of Transfer to and select Spam.
  8. Close the Filters window
  9. When asked if you want to save changes, click the Yes button.
