on pg2 for the definition of periodic functions, shouldn't it be "for every real x" as opposed to "every real L" since L, the period is fixed and for any real x, f(x + L) = f(x) ?

ex. sine is 2*Pi periodic, so that f(2*Pi + x) = f(x) for every real x, but not periodic for EVERY L.
