The final exam covers everything from the first day to the last day. That is, it covers the material for the first midterm, the material for the second midterm, and the recent material from Sections 6.1-6.2 and the part of Section 6.4 summarized by the writeup on the spectral theorem. (Section 6.1 includes the Cauchy-Schwartz inequality.) For the homework, it covers Problem Sets I-VIII (i.e., all of them); solutions are posted.
The ground rules: closed book; no calculators; paper is provided.
During exam week, I will hold my usual office hours on Monday, June 9, 2:00-3:30. And then Ethan Brown will have office hours 3:30-5 that afternoon. And questions can always be posted to our "virtual office hours" website.)
